The operation of the 5G test zone in the Kazan subway has been extended until mid-2022. The latest drive tests on site showed that peak data downloads exceed 4000 Mbps. In June 2021 Tele2 together with CPM system integrator, Cisco and Nokia, launched a 5G pilot zone at all underground stations of the Kazan subway. As part of the project a dedicated fifth-generation network infrastructure based on a Cisco solution packet core and a Nokia radio subsystem was deployed.
Cisco has implemented CUPS, a technology for separating control planes and transferring user data, which allows to achieve consistently high download speeds. Based on this solution Tele2 built highly scalable distributed core networks with the ability to move the data and application plane to the network edge, ensuring minimal connection speed / network delays. The joint team of specialists was quick and efficient in solving the many non-standard technical tasks on integrating the test zone into the existing infrastructure of the telecom operator. The launch of the 5G network in such a complex infrastructure facility was implemented with the support of the government of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today Tele2 subscribers that own smartphones with 5G support and for whom Tatarstan is their home region can test ultra-high-speed Internet at all underground stations of the Kazan subway. Subscribers of other mobile operators can test the speed of the 5th generation technology at the Kremlevskaya station. To connect one needs to select the “Tele2WiFi5G” network in the Wi-Fi access settings. The 5G network works both on the platform and near the station’s entrances.

CPM Ltd. specialists deployed the BroadForward solution in V-Tell, in the Diameter Routing Agent (DRA) functionality and the Diameter Edge Agent (DEA), as well as the common BFX platform for inter-network and inter-protocol exchange between Diameter, SS7 (MAP / CAP / INAP), RADIUS, HTTP, ENUM and LDAP.
As part of the MVNO project, CPM Ltd. provided, implemented and integrated Cisco VPC (Virtual Packet Core) and Cisco CPS (Cisco Policy Suit) solutions in MTT’s MVNO project. Within the project, CPM Ltd. company also shipped Cisco UCS server hardware to deploy GGSN \ PGW universal packet core based on Cisco Virtual Packet Core (VPC) and PCRF on the basis of Cisco Policy Suit (CPS). To date, work has been completed on the integration and testing of the GGSN / PGW node and the solution is being used to provide commercial communication services. The integration of the Cisco CPS / PCRF components with the MTT network infrastructure is close to the final and is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2016.
“This is already the third full MVNO commercial project in Russia in which we are successfully implementing the Cisco VPC solution as GGSN / PGW / DPI. In December 2015, the RCS project was successfully completed on the MTC network. MTS introduced this technology as one of the first in the Russian market and today provides subscribers with the MTS Connect service, which competes with common OTT services such as skype, viber, whataspp (messaging, files exchange, presence service, home tariff roaming calls) using own mobile number as user ID. Through the use of standardized 3gpp architecture, RCS subscribers can make / receive voice calls, including incoming calls from regular landline phones. In the near future, as other operators build a standard architecture, it will be possible to exchange files, messages, presence status and calls with RCS subscribers of other operators.
Within the project the IMS core from Nokia, the RCS server manufactured by Mitel (formerly Mavenir), a software downloadable client from Summit-Tech, was integrated.

CPM Ltd. became the winner of the Tele2 Russia competition for the supply and integration of universal 2G / 3G / 4G packet core solutions, as well as PCRF and Traffic Optimization System solutions. Within the framework of the project, Cisco (EPC + PCRF) and OpenWave Mobility (TOS) solutions were used.
Osnova Telecom, which builds the federal LTE network, tested the server solution for VoLTE and RCS by the American company Mavenir Systems. In Osnova Telecom, they called this solution alternative and did not exclude the possibility of using it on their network.
Osnova Telecom noted that the product was tested in Moscow on the operator’s own equipment. Its supplier was Mavenir Systems, an American company specializing in the development of software supporting the work of various services based on the LTE network, and the integrator was CPM. “This solution is fully virtualized, which significantly reduces the time and cost of its implementation,” Osnova Telecom representatives believe. “The tests performed showed good results and indicate the potential use of the Mavenir Systems solution.”
Osnova Telecom also noted that such solutions fit into the company's strategy, which is based on the transition from the traditional operator's role of a single data service provider to the whole range of services. At the same time, “the company not only selects solutions that are already on the market, but also actively initiates their improvement in order to increase the attractiveness for end users”.
Just the example of such work in Osnova Telecom was called the process of introducing a voice communication service based on 4G networks (Voice over LTE, VoLTE). At the same time, Osnova Telecom is working on the implementation of the concept of Rich Communication Services (RCS), which will allow the operator to provide various multimedia services. Among these new services is video communication in high-definition mode (HD Video call), advanced messaging service (Rich Messaging), which includes the ability to communicate within groups of users. In addition, Osnova Telecom investigated RCS file sharing service and a number of opportunities related to obtaining information about the location of subscribers (RCS Location Information) and various types of communication with other users of the network (RCS Presence).

As part of the first stage of the tender for the supply of LTE equipment, Osnova Telecom purchased base stations from Alcatel-Lucent, and a network core from Cisco. The company is preparing to open a new stage of the tender next week.

"The company plans to hold a new stage of the tender for the supply of equipment in April," a company spokesman said yesterday. Osnova Telecom initially planned to build LTE networks in 20 cities with a population of 300 thousand to 500 thousand people, and later announced that it intends to reach 40 cities with mobile broadband access networks in LTE standard.
A Cisco spokesperson clarified to ComNews reporter that the products supplied will include elements of a packet core based on Cisco ASR5000 equipment and elements of a transport network based on Cisco ASR 9000, 903 and 901 equipment. The packet core will be located in three cities - Moscow, St. Petersburg and Samara, and the network will be distributed in all subjects of the Russian Federation.
"The project is of strategic importance, its value has not been disclosed," - said a Cisco representative. According to him, the contract for the supply of equipment has already been signed, and the delivery itself will occur approximately within two months. The project is planned to be implemented by the end of the summer.
A representative of Osnova Telecom added that 2,000 contracted base stations would be enough to build networks until mid-summer, in parallel, in the next stages of the tender, the operator will select vendors for further development.

From October 2010 to November 2011 CPM has completed a project on an audit of the MOEX Group's application software.
In the course of the project, a classification of the applications was carried out, the connections of the applications used in the MOEX Group divisions among themselves as well as with external applications of third-party organizations were revealed.
As a result of the project, a functional model was built and a structured knowledge base about applications was created. In addition, CPM experts developed recommendations for improving the architecture of the MOEX Group's software complex.
As part of the third annual Cisco Expo Learning Club (CELC) forum, held on June 30 in Moscow, the award ceremony was held for winners of the open competition of the best histories of using Cisco products and solutions in Russia and other CIS countries organized by Cisco. 28 projects were submitted for the competition. The mobile operator Sky Link has completed the modernization of the packet data service node (PDSN - Packet Data Serving Node) and the migration of data services traffic to the Cisco ASR 5000 intelligent platform in the Moscow region. The project, which will allow the operator to perform advanced functionality for filtering, distribution, prioritization and managment of traffic and quality of services (QoS), has been implemented by a joint team of Sky Link, Cisco and CPM Ltd., Which has been the system integrator of the project.
“We are faced with the task of building a multi-standard network. PDSN modernization is an important step in the company's IT-infrastructure strategic development plan. Its implementation will improve the technical parameters of service provision and strengthen traffic management, which we began to use in content tariffs as the first among mobile operators in Russia, and later on - allow to switch to fourth-generation networks, ”says Andrey Lyapin, director of business units Sky Link Moscow and Sky Link Center.
Supports various access technologies for PDSN functions for 3G networks built on CDMA technology (including EVDO Rev.A / Rev.B), as well as support for packet core node functions for 2G / 3G networks (SGSN and GGSN functions) and LTE networks (full support of MME, SGW and PGW functions) together with built-in service functions (in-depth analysis and traffic control, optimization of transport protocols, etc.) will give the operator the possibility of detailed control, flexible billing and subscriber session management, which in turn will allow the development of existing and introduction of new personalized services with minimal costs to expand the network infrastructure ready for LTE implementation.

In the period from November 2010 to April 2011 CPM implemented a project to design a stratedgy for information and technology development for the Ugoria insurance company.
During the project, the current information architecture of the insurance company was analyzed, requirements and a target model of the information architecture were developed, and a modernization plan was designed - a plan for transition from the current to the target model.
CPM announced it has received the status of a Cisco Mobile Internet Technology Authorized Technology Provider (ATP-MIT). Company employees have completed the necessary training and successfully passed the exams in accordance with the requirements of Cisco for partners for the implementation and support of solutions for mobile service operators to obtain this status. ATP-MIT Certified Partner Status was obtained by CPM as soon as possible after approval of the condition of its receipt for Cisco partners.
The expertise of the company's employees in the mobile Internet solution line has been developing since 2008, when CPM received the status of a partner of the company Starent Networks, as a result of the acquisition of which the newly formed division of Cisco Mobile Internet Technology Group was created. MegaFon completed the modernization of the packet core of the communication network and the migration of traffic to the Cisco ASR5000 platform in the Central Region. The project was implemented by a joint team of MegaFon, Cisco, and CPM Ltd., which acted as a system integrator of the project.

The Genesys Outbound interaction management platform was upgraded from preview mode to full mode in Skylink Contact Center. The new mode allows to increase the effectiveness of proactive contacts with customers and reduce the burden on operators. Provider of the solution was the CPM Ltd. company.
The delivery of Genesys Gplus Adapter for MS Dynamics CRM software for the Skylink contact center has been completed. This solution allowed Skylink to integrate the workplaces of contact center operators into a single client interaction management platform.
CPM has provided, installed and configured the equipment of the combined wireless data network node for MegaFon. With the commissioning of this node, which has high performance and meets the most modern requirements, the total data transfer rate in the MegaFon-Center network has increased by 4 times.
The equipment of the American company Cisco, the world leader in the field of network technologies, was installed and out into operation in the auto room of the Central branch of MegaFon. Today, MegaFon is the only company in Russia that launched this equipment into commercial operation, which can be used without additional modernization in LTE networks.
CPM has completed a pilot project to implement an automated system at Alfa-Bank to counter financial crime and money laundering based on solutions from Norkom Technologies.
The pilot project demonstrated the capabilities of Norkom solutions for detecting credit card fraud (DCF module) and countering money laundering (AML module - Anti-Money Laundering). In total, 11 scenarios for detecting potential cases of fraud were implemented: 5 scenarios for the AML module and 6 scenarios for the DCF module.
Bank employees were able to analyze the performance of detection scenarios, learn how to handle alerts about possible frauds generated by the system, and analyze cross-reference dependencies between transactions, alerts, accounts and customers to identify deeper links between them on real data.
CPM won a tender for the provision of technical support services to the contact center for Siberian Coal Energy Company (SCEC). The total number of jobs of the operators of the contact center of the company is 25.
CPM, together with the specialists of Synterra, completed the implementation of the Online Consultant application (Web chat) for MegaFon-Northwest, based on the capabilities of the Genesys platform. Employees of CPM have been successfully certified by Genesys (part of Alcatel-Lucent) by System Consultant, Inbound Voice (GCP7-CIV) and Developer, Inbound Voice Routing (GCP7-DIV) qualifications. In total, at the moment, the company employees received 3 certificates: 2-CIV, 1-DIV.
CPM has successfully completed a pilot project for the implementation of a service-oriented integration platform for AlfaStrakhovanie. Within the project, an integration process was developed and successfully implemented to transfer information on insurance contracts and customers between several corporate applications of AlfaStrakhovanie. At the same time, a canonical data scheme was designed for the subject area of insurance contracts and company customers, and the integration process was developed in terms of integration patterns (a set of best practices for integrating enterprise applications through asynchronous messaging). The specificity of the project was the use of the product in open source Apache ServiceMix. The developed integration process successfully went through pilot operation and was recommended for industrial use. Thus, an experiment using open source solutions was considered successful. The experience gained during the implementation of the project on the design and development of integration components formed the basis of the development guide, based on which AlfaStrakhovanie employees will be able to develop new integration components on their own.
CPM delivered software and equipment for organizing outgoing telephone campaigns based on Genesys Outbound Voice solution for Synterra contact center. The kit includes a subscriber answer recognition server (Call Progress Detection), which significantly increases the system's ability to provide diverse outsourcing services.
According to the results of the competition for the provision of contact center support services, Ingosstrakh entered into an agreement with CPM. More than 150 workplaces of contact center operators were taken for service.
The first stage of the contact center implementation project for Coral Travel has been completed. CPM specialists implemented integration with the system used by Coral Travel based on the Cisco Call Manager solution, which made it possible to complete the work in a short time with minimal costs. The contact center of the company will be able to handle different types of customer calls - not only standard telephone calls, but also multimedia: email, chat.
CPM has developed and implemented a solution for managing call records of operators for the contact center of Coral Travel.
CPM will provide technical support services to the Synterra contact center. The total number of jobs of the operators is 160.
CPM and R&P Consult conducted a joint audit of the infrastructure of the contact center of Mosenergosbyt. During the audit, an analysis of the current state of affairs was carried out, a KPI assessment was made, and a customer service forecast was built depending on the configuration of CC resources. According to the results of the work, the customer was provided with recommendations on the development of the contact center and optimization of business processes.
CPM is starting a project to implement a contact center for Coral Travel, one of the largest tour operators in Russia. The solution is based on the Genesys software platform. The first stage is the installation of the Genesys Express package and its integration with the existing corporate telephony system based on Cisco Call Manager. The project provides for further expansion of CC to Genesys Enterprise Routing.
The mobile operator Sky Link starts servicing Moscow region subscribers in a unified contact center (UCC), and also starts receiving and processing calls from the North-West region in test mode. CPM is the supplier and integrator of the Unified Contact Center solution. The main platform for organizing the software and hardware of the contact center is Genesys software. The contact center of Sky Link was formed within the framework of creating a single federal operator based on regional operating companies in order to unify business processes and ensure uniform standards of customer service throughout the territory of presence.
